Here are a few photos of
the car. I will send you some without people in them when I get the
tires back on. One had a slow leak and the front tire was shot. I
took them into a local bike shop who is putting on a new tire for the
front and ordered a new tube for the odd ball sized tire on the back.
I'm not aware of any PPV's for sale in the area. I've considered
selling mine however it's one of the cool "toys" that are
fun to have around. Mine is in pretty decent shape with the exception
of some minor damage on the right front bumber as seen in the photo.
There is also a small hole in the hood that seemed to have developed
out of nowhere when I got it out for the first time this spring.
Otherwise I'm not aware of any damage. In one of the photos that you
sent, it's apparent the original must have had a short 4-5" tall
windshield of sorts. I always wondered what that 1" wide strip
of chrome held in place at one time. Interesting. Regardless of the
shifting, this particular PPV is not made for hills of any sort.
Thanks again for the information. I had some photos of the car
without people but can't lay my hands on them right now. I'll send
some when the tires are on again.
